This is the new website for the Civil Air Patrols 84th Squadron of the Indiana Wing. A composite squadron is made up of both senior and cadet members. Seniors are persons 18 years and older while cadets start at 12 years of age and can remain a cadet until they are 21 years old. Our squadron is made up of a diverse and talented group of men and women from around the West lafayette area and is lead by our squadron commander, Lt. Col. David McEntire.
Meetings are held each Sunday evening from 1700 to 1930 hours (5:00 PM to 7:30 PM Eastern Time) at the Purdue University Armory. For more information about how you can get involved as either a cadet or a senior member, contact us via email at Squadron Commander to learn more.
Our local support entity, Friends of Lafayette Composite Squadron, a 501(c)3 nonprofit group is hosting our first annual Chili Supper being held on March 17, 2012 from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Faith Community Center at 5572 Mercy Way in Lafayette. Get your tickets here. Your tax deductable tickets will get you a hot bowl of chili, hot dog, drink and a ticket to view the latest Sherwood Films move, "Courageous" being shown that day at 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM.
